The Northwest African American Museum is committed to creating inclusive and accessible experiences for all people to feel welcome and safe. The museum is a single story experience and wheelchair accessible throughout. The upper two floors of the Colman School building are Low Income Housing provided by the Urban League of Seattle.

Accommodations
Wheelchair accessible parking spaces are located nearest to the building in the Residential Side Parking area.
Electronically assisted doors are located at the Main Entrance.
Courtesy wheelchairs are available on a first come, first serve basis.
Accessible restrooms and stalls are located on the North and South sides of the building.
Baby changing stations are located on the North and South sides of the building.
Single stall all-gender Restrooms are located on the North side of the building.
Closed captioning is available on videos in the Journey Gallery and Community Living Room.
