Knowledge is Power

Book Giveaway Program

Advancing racial equity + cultural literacy

Will you give a book on Black history and culture to a local child today?

Black Books Matter. As we strive to have a more just society, books that celebrate Black children and Black lives are more important than ever.

Throughout the year, NAAM is giving away enriching PreK-12 books to local youth at family-friendly and school-based events throughout the region. NAAM has carefully curated books that share the richness of Black history and culture for all children. These books center, reflect, and affirm Black children, and are written and illustrated by Black authors and artists, with amazing learning within.
