Will you give a book on Black history to a local child today? Black Lives Matter. Black Books Matter. As we strive to have a more just society, books that celebrate Black children and Black lives are more important than ever. And with continued school and library closures due to Covid, literacy and educational empowerment programs are needed more than ever.

We've curated books that will teach children the rich history of Black Americans. These books center, reflect, and affirm Black children, and are written and illustrated by Black authors and artists, with amazing learning within.
