Special Edition: Interactive Story Time ft. Ruth & The Greenbook

Join us for an interactive Special Edition Story Time with guest readers. Participants will read along with a story selection from the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service, creators of the exhibition The Negro Motorist Green Book. The story Ruth and The Green Book was written by playwright Calvin Alexander Ramsey with poet Gwen Strauss and will delight young readers and listeners of all ages.

This beautifully illustrated story set in the 1950s is told through a child’s viewpoint to understand the historical importance of The Green Book and how it helped African Americans travel safely across the nation.
