Exhibit Artist Reception
In December of 2023, NAAM hosted an artists reception for the Positive Frequencies exhibit. The four artists with featured work were invited to discuss the profound impact of music has in our lives and in their work. Positive Frequencies offers a unique opportunity to immerse ourselves in a world where art and music harmoniously coexist, reminding us of the transformative and healing power that can be found within the universal language of music.

C. Bennett
Iconic Neo-POP, Artist C.Bennett combines pop themes, iconic images and neo-expressionist techniques to produce work that is wary of modern society.His unique style of art combines an urban “street” style with the use of found media, providing him with an endless supply of complex and relevant subject matter. Each painting allows the viewer to step into a nostalgic dream and the creative mind of the artist.C.Bennett has shown his art worldwide and has created stunning large scale murals in major cities in the US.
Myron Curry
Myron Curry was born and raised in Seattle, Washington, primarily in the Central District, and is a self-taught artist who began taking his practice seriously in 2015. Myron uses several techniques when he paints, from dry brush, realism, spontaneous realism, abstract, pop, contemporary, fine art, traditional and unconventional. His style is a complete blend of these things, similar to Seattle being a melting pot of diversity. Recently, Myron has become more widely known as a muralist. His first mural was in 2019 at the Hill House Mural project on 23rd Ave E in Seattle. Myron states, “Every new experience adds to the perspective and dimensions of my creativity. When doing art, time has no measure and I can explore what can be created without boundaries. I would like my art to be an example of how creative visual images can provide positive emotional experiences conducive to our community and environment.”
Samuel Blackwell
Samuel Blackwell is the Master Artist. He has over 20+ years experience creating still life paintings. He has a US Military background, and is currently a veteran. He is a strong believer in Christianity. His work reflects his honest, heartfelt approach to this type of art. His articulate vision can be seen clearly in the finished product. Blackwell Art has been shown at a variety of different shows, festivals, conferences, churches and fairs.
Eric D. Salisbury
Eric moved to Seattle, Washington in 1989, where he quickly established himself as a Pacific Northwest artist and art instructor. He teaches children and adults the joy of creating their own freedom of expression through art. He was the owner and operator of the C Art Gallery in Seattle, Washington from 2008 – 2022. Eric exhibits his works throughout the world in galleries, museums and many other showplaces. He is also a Muralist creating community-based, large-scale works in Brazil, Africa, the United Kingdom and the United States.
